About Us
Jimmy and Caren Vandergrift, owners/operators or
Magnolia Hill Stables set out in 2003 to create a "Horsey
Heaven" for the horse enthusiast. Their attention to detail is
evident from the time you step on "The Hill." The indoor
arena with attached Stable House for observation in the cold
weather, as well as being cool in the hot Tennessee
summers. The outdoor arena with excellent footing is built
to USDF standards. These are just a couple of the kudos
you will find at Magnolia Hill Stables.
The love that Jimmy and
Caren have for horses
began about 15 years
ago with the purchase of
an Arabian mare. From
that time, the barn
began to grow in
capacity as they bred
and showed this
wonderful breed. Their
horses earned numerous
championships. Jimmy
is an excellent showman
in halter.

In 1996, Caren fell in love with Dressage and the rest is
history. Their love of all breeds is evident in the variety of
horses that now call Magnolia Hill home. The couple lives on
the 40-acre property and is present to make sure each horse
is treated with individual care. Caren is the barn manager.
Magnolia Hill may not be Heaven . . . . but for the horse
lover, it's a little slice.
